When Does Your Car Need To Be Realigned

Wondering whether your car needs alignment? Check your tires. Uneven wear, such as wear that’s more significant on the outside of your tires than the inside, is a prime indicator that your tires are out of alignment.

These are a few more indicators:
-Your car is drifting to one side, even when you think you’re driving straight
-Your steering wheel vibrates, especially as you drive faster
-You are driving straight, but your steering wheel isn’t perfectly centered

If you don’t notice any of these signs of misalignment, but it’s been several months or even years since your last tire check, consult your owner’s manual to see how frequently they recommend getting a tire alignment.

Remember, tire misalignment is common. It’s a result of simply driving your vehicle. But alignment does’t technically refer to the wheels, but also the suspension. During the course of normal wear and tear, your car’s suspension may break down, as springs stretch out. Even small bumps, like from a curb or pothole, can knock your suspension out of alignment. Lifetime Auto Center offers alignments that will quickly, reliably and affordably restore the suspension angles to their correct measurements.
