Brakes

If you notice it’s taking longer and longer to get your car to a complete stop, it’s time for a brake inspection. Lifetime Automotive knows the ins and outs of brakes better than any other mechanic, from pedals and hydraulic fluid to master cylinders and power boosters. If that sounds complicated, that’s because it is. We’ll help you understand your brake problem and help you equip your car best for safety and performance. We work with drum brakes, disc brakes and electronic anti-lock brake sensors. No matter the make or model, we can get your car in the best shape of its life.

There are a few warning signs that your brakes are aging, and need an inspection:

  • Your brake dashboard light is flashing. This signal is easy to remember, but that flashing light is a warning sign from your car that there’s a problem with your anti-lock brake system.
  • If your brake dashboard light is red, that indicates a system imbalance somewhere within your car.
  • If your brake pedal feels spongy, or requires greater pressure to bring your car to a full stop.
  • You hear a grinding, squealing or whirring sound any time you bring your car to a stop.

Any of these signs are a warning that your brakes need the expertise of Lifetime Automotive. We know how important brakes are to the performance and safety of your car, and we equip all vehicles with the highest quality in pads, shoes and parts.
